Competition
If you eat, drink and breathe motorsport, you will find a smorgasbord of opportunity at the Club’s Competition Section. Pretty well up there in the rev range, this section is responsible for the organisation and promotion of all the Club’s competition events.
If you have ever dreamed of ‘having a go’, the Sporting Car Club can help make it happen. Competition-wise, we run circuit racing at both The Bend Motorsport Park and Mallala Motorsport Park with the SCCSA CAMS State Championship. The club owns the Collingrove Hillclimb track venue where we run Club, State and National level competitions and events.
If you love your motorsport but don’t want to get behind the wheel, our members can help officiate with organisational or on-track tasks. The camaraderie is brilliant, the thrill enormous and the fun never-ending. We provide all the training you need.

John Blanden's Climb to the Eagle 2025
7:00am–3:30pm
The tradition of the Adelaide Grand Prix continues as we invite you to join us for the 2025 edition and celebrate the 40th Anniversary. We will convene at the Victoria Park grandstand and proceed to Hahndorf for morning tea via Eagle on the Hill. A panel discussion featuring renowned personalities, moderated by Bob Jennings, will take place during the morning tea. Afterwards, we will proceed to Victor Harbor for lunch.
Fleurieu Twilight Run and Christmas Dinner
Ex Goolwa 15:45 – 21:00
Meet 15:45 on the grassed area opposite the Goolwa Yacht Club, Barrage Rd, Goolwa for 16:00 departure on a run with BYO drinks stop enroute.
The run will end at the Middleton Tavern for a 3 course Christmas dinner, choice of 2 entrees, 3 mains and 2 desserts.
