Classic And Modern

All people with motoring interests are most welcome to join the Classic and Modern Touring Section.

Do you enjoy driving, or just a car enthusiast? Then you have what’s needed to belong!​

We enjoy all marques from A to Z so whether you love an Alfa Romeo, maybe a Mini, or lust after and new generation Electric Vehicle (EV) or a Lamborghini or a Honda, you don’t need to own one to enjoy our section.

While the term “Classic” focuses on cars over 30 years old and built after 1945, all of our meetings and runs are suitable for enthusiasts of older and much newer cars. Everyone is welcome and owners of the latest modern ‘sporting’ cars frequently attend and are appreciated.

​Our meetings are held at the Clubrooms on the first Friday of each month, February to December and we usually provide a light supper. Each meeting has a theme with members cars featured on stage and from time to time brand new and classic versions of cars will be showcased by a new car dealership. The January meeting is usually a ‘meeting on the move’ away from the Clubrooms. 

Events vary from weekend social cruises and day runs, to garage and motorsport visits, a 3-day ‘Sunseeker’ event and many other areas of interest. We love to include family events the kids will want to join in!
